Service Opportunity - Help make our Community Kitchen a Reality
Food. You probably know how central food can be to building relationships! Up until now the Reach Potential Culinary program has provided at-risk youth with vocational training, volunteer hours, and the opportunity to connect with an adult mentor, but we have been limited to borrowed kitchen space. Now we are partnering at the Sunnyvale Gateway Neighborhood Center to build a Community Kitchen! Imagine a place that at risk youth, under resourced families, and Reach Potential volunteers can come together to prepare food for events like the Christmas Posada, snacks for Tutoring and an inviting cafe space for mentors and youth to connect.
We need your help to make this happen!
When: Nov 15th 2014, 9:30am -12 noon
Where: Gateway Neighborhood Center

On Nov 15th, from 9:30 -12 noon, we will be cleaning out the current Storage space to make room. Come help us "break ground" and imagine with us how this can make a difference in our community. A great family opportunity...help us organize children's books too. With questions, or to sign up, fill in the form below.
